The practice of medicine has never had more evidence to draw on, yet most of it never reaches patients. Each year, over 2.5 million studies are published, but fewer than 1 in 7 findings make it into everyday clinical care. On average, it takes 17 years for research to change what happens at the bedside, so we exist to close that gap.

Uneven research quality, limited generalizability, and real world barriers like heavy workloads and insufficient training in critical appraisal make evidence based decision making harder than it should be. This symposium and scientific competition is designed as a strategic bridge, a space where the evaluation of evidence is practiced, challenged, and applied to the realities of clinical work.

"Beyond Tomorrow"

Medicine is not one career, it's many. This symposium brings together physicians who have taken different paths, clinical and non-clinical alike, to share honest reflections on the road ahead. For preclinical students and co-assistants looking to understand their options, this is a rare chance to hear directly from those who have walked them and to build lasting connections along the way.
